DVR cascading

The digital video recorders provide "CASCADE IN" and "CASCADE OUT" video connections.

In combination with RS-485 remote control, up to 8 EDR920/1640 can be cascaded and administrated via one single main monitor. Cascading is effected by connecting the DVRs „CASCADE OUT“ to the „CASCADE IN“ of the following DVR, while the last „CASCADE OUT“ is connected to the monitor input.

By means of the RS-485 address sent from the keyboard, the respective DVR is switched on the monitor.

This function is available for main monitor only.
