Follow the same procedure if you will be installing more UTP Cameras to CH2, CH3, or CH4.

NOTE: Do NOT insert both BNC and UTP video sources to the same channel simultaneously, or the video will not function correctly and it may cause the video to look like the figure below. For instance, if you have already installed a UTP Camera to channel 1, do not install another camera to the BNC port of channel 1.

Bad Video Output

Step 3:

Plug in the power adapter to the DVR, and the DVR will start to boot. The installation is complete.

NOTE: The UTP Board provides power up to 5.5W. If the power consumption of your camera is more than 5.5W, the UTP Board will start beeping.

NOTE: The length of each UTP cable should NOT exceed 300 meters, or it may cause loss or weakening of signal. The following table shows performance at different distances.
