Level

{7. NC 17 } – No children under age 17; not recommended viewing for children under age 17.

{8. Adult } – Mature material; should be viewed only by adults due to graphic sexual material, violence or language.

DVDs that are rated higher than the level you have selected will not play unless you enter your four-digit pin code.

Helpful hints:

–VCD, SVCD, CDs have no level indication, so parental control has no effect on these type of discs. This also applies to most illegal DVDs.

–Some DVDs are not coded with a rating though the movie rating may be printed on the disc cover. The rating level feature does not prohibit play of such discs.

You will be prompted to enter your four-digit pin code.

2)Use the numeric keypad 0-9to enter your four-digit pin code

and select OK in the menu and press OK on the remote control

to confirm.

3) Select New in the menu and press OK to access new password

menu.

4)Use the numeric keypad 0-9to enter your new four-digit pin code, then press T to select the next entry field and enter the same pin code a second time.

5) Select OK in the menu and press OK to confirm. To abort the change, select CANCEL and press OK.

1)Use ST keys to select one of the options.

{ All }	– Select this if you have used the COAXIAL
	socket on the recorder to connect to a stereo
	receiver that has a built-in multichannel decoder.
{ LPCM }	– Select this if the connected audio equipment is
	not capable of decoding multichannel audio
	Dolby Digital and MPEG-2 multichannel signals
	are converted to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation).

2)Press OK to confirm your selection.
