CHANGE THE SETTINGS

TIME SHIFT

TIME SHIFT is a very convenient feature when you are away from the TV.

Whenever you turn on the HDR1000, it will start to record its current program into the time shift buffer on to the internal HDD. It will automatically play back the content of the time shift buffer.

To change the buffer time size and record mode for TIME SHIFT, follow steps below.

The default setting is as the following.

Select “Record Mode”.

Press K or L button to select your desired record mode (LP, SQ or HQ). Then press B but- ton to move the cursor. Refer to page 26 for

details on LP, SQ and HQ mode.

Before you begin, press HDD button so that the blue HDD light appears on the front panel on the HDR1000.

Press MENU button.

Save the data.

Confirm that “Store” is selected. Then, press OK button.

Exit the setting mode.

Press MENU button or press RETURN button repeatedly to exit.

[TIME SHIFT PLAYBACK]

Press PAUSE button whilst you are watching TV using the HDR1000 tuner.

The picture on the TV screen will pause.

Select “Time Shift”.

Press K or L button. Then, press OK button.

Move the cursor to setting posi- tion.

Press B button to move the cursor.

Time Shift Playback will start from the point when you pressed the PAUSE button.
