DVD OPERATION

AUDIO LANGUAGE

CAMERA ANGLE

The HDR1000 allows you to select a language during DVD disc (if multi language available) playback.

Before you begin, press DVD button.

Press AUDIO button during playback.

Press AUDIO button repeatedly to select your desired language.

STEREO SOUND MODE

Press AUDIO button repeatedly dur- ing playback to select between AUDIO STEREO, AUDIO L-CH or AUDIO R-CH.

AUDIO STEREO - both right and left channels are active (stereo) AUDIO L-CH - only left channel is active

AUDIO R-CH - only right channel is active

SUBTITLE LANGUAGE

The HDR1000 allows you to select a language (if available) during DVD disc playback.

Before you begin, press DVD button.

Press SUB T. button during playback.

Press SUB T. button repeatedly to select your desired subtitle lan- guage.

The available languages appears on the right of the subtitle display.

To turn off subtitles, press SUB T. button repeated until OFF appears.

Some DVD discs contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from various angles.

Before you begin, press DVD button.

Press ANGLE button during play- back.

Press ANGLE button repeatedly to select your desired different angle appears on the right of the angle dis- play.

CHANGING THE ON-SCREEN

DISPLAY

You can check information about the current disc by pressing DISPLAY button on the remote control.

Before you begin, press DVD button.

Press DISPLAY button during play- back to show current Chapter.

The elapsed and remaining playing time of the cur- rent chapter will be displayed.

Press DISPLAY button again to show current Title.

The elapsed and remaining playing time of the cur- rent title will be displayed.

Press DISPLAY button the third time.

The BIT RATE, layer number (if available) and the current repeat setting will be displayed.

Press DISPLAY button the fourth time to remove the display.

Press DISPLAY button during play- back, the current Track will be dis- played on the TV screen.

The elapsed and remaining playing time of the cur- rent track will be displayed.

Press DISPLAY button again to show current Total Track.

The elapsed and remaining playing time of the cur- rent total track will be displayed.

Press DISPLAY button the third time to remove the display.
