TIMER RECORDING USING THE SHOWVIEW SYSTEM

Follow these steps to set a timer recording with the ShowView number in your TV guide. Before you begin:

Set up the TV programs at the HDR1000. Details are on pages 21-22.

Set the clock. Details are on pages 16-17.

Before you begin, press HDD button so that the blue HDD light appears on the front panel of the HDR1000.

Continue with step [8] at “AUTOMATIC TIMER RECORDING” on page 27.

You can correct the data for Frequency, Episode, Rec. Mode, VPS/PDC if you need.

Display “Timer” screen.

Press TIMER button.

Select “ShowView sys- tem”.

Press K or L button. Then, press OK button.

Set the ShowView number.

Press CLEAR button to cancel ShowView number.

Press { or B button to move the cursor.

Confirm the timer program.

If you correct the pro- gram, press B button to move the cursor to pro- gram setting position. Then, press K or L but- ton to select your desired program.

Helpful Hints

To stop a timer recording that has started, press STOP button. The message will appear to con- firm. If it is OK, press STOP button again.

“Given Number not correct.” may appear on the TV screen after step [3] if you enter an incorrect ShowView number (for example, one that is too short). In this case, press RETURN button. Then, enter the correct ShowView number.

After step [2], a warning message appears when there are more than 50 titles stored. In this case, press NAVI button, then delete unwanted titles in Navigation menu. Or, press RETURN button to remove the message.

After step [2], a warning message appears when more than 20 timer programs have been setup. In this case, press TIMER button to remove the message.
