To enter the Child lock menu

1.Press MENU on the remote control and select TV menu > Features > Child lock and press Æ to enter your code.

2.Enter your code with the number keys.

To lock or unlock all channels and connected devices

1.In the Child Lock menu, select Lock or Unlock.

2.Press OK.

To lock a programme or all channels from a certain time

1.In the Child lock menu, select Custom lock.

2.Press Æ to enter the Custom lock menu.

3.Press Æ again to enter the Lock after menu.

4.Select On to enable the Timer lock.

5.Press Í.

6.Select Time.

7.Press Æ.

8.Enter the time with Î or ï and Æ.

9.Press OK.

To lock one or more channels and connected devices

1.In the Child lock menu, select Custom lock.

2.Press Æ to enter.

3.Press Î or ï to select Channel lock.

4.Press Æ.

5.Press Î or ï to select the channel or device you want to lock or unlock.

6.At each selection, press OK to lock or unlock the channel or device.

To set parental ratings

Some digital broadcasters rate their

programmes according to age.You can set your TV to display only programmes with age ratings higher than your child’s.

1.In the Child lock menu, select Custom lock.

2.Press Æ to enter.

3.Press Î or ï to select Parental rating.

4.Press Æ.

5.Press Î or ï to select an age rating.

6.Press Menu to exit the Child lock menu.

5.11 Use subtitles

You can enable subtitles for each TV channel. Subtitles are broadcast via teletext or DVB-T digital broadcasts.With digital broadcasts, you have the addditional option of selecting a preferred subtitle language.

5.11.1Enable subtitles on analogue TV channels

1.Select an analogue TV channel.

2.Press TELETEXT on the remote control.

3.Enter the three digit page number of the subtitle page.

4.Press TELETEXT to switch off teletext.

5.Press MENU on the remote control and select TV menu > Features > Subtitle.

6.Press Æ to enter the list.
