There is no guarantee that the remote control will work your Cable Box or DBS.

Helpful Hints

Although the remote control that comes with your TV/VCR will work most Cable Boxes and DBSs, it is possible that the remote control will not operate your Cable Box or DBS.

The remote control may only oper- ate some features of your Cable Box or DBS. For example, some Cable Boxes may only be turned on at the Cable Box, therefore the remote control will not be able to turn on the Cable Box.

Press the CABLE/DBS button before pressing any buttons to operate the Cable Box/DBS.

If you had to program the remote control to operate your Cable Box or DBS here, whenever you replace the batteries in the remote control, you will have to program the remote control again.
