TV/VCR Maintenance

In this TV/VCR, use only tapes with the mark. The use of other tapes may result in poor picture quality and excessive deposits on the video heads, which may not be covered by the warranty if damage occurs.

Make sure any light adhesive stick-on notes are removed from the video cassette tape before putting the tape in the TV/VCR. Removable labels like these can jam the TV/VCR.

Periodic maintenance is required to maintain your TV/VCR’s excel- lent performance. This TV/VCR has an automatic head cleaning system. However, the video heads will eventually require cleaning or replacement. Only an authorized service center should perform this service.
