ALT. CH (Alternate Channel) Button

Press to return to the TV channel you were viewing immediately before switching to your current channel.

CHANNEL Up/Down Buttons

Press to scan through the TV/VCR’s channels.

VOLUME Up/Down Buttons

Press to adjust the sound level. If you press the VOLUME Up/Down buttons when the sound is muted, the sound will be restored.

MUTE Button

Press to eliminate the TV/VCR’s sound. Press again to return to the previous volume level.

F.FWD/+ Button

When in Stop mode, press to fast forward the tape at high speed. During tape playback, press to fast forward while the picture stays on-screen. Details are on page 46.

MEMORY Button

Press to memorize a tape position at which the real time counter was set to 0:00:00. Details are on page 44. Or, press to memorize the start and end position on a tape when setting up A-B Repeat Playback. Details are on pages 42 - 43.

CLEAR Button

Press to erase incorrect data when programming TV/VCR func- tions. Also, press to reset the real time counter. Details are on page 44.

TRACKING (Up/Down) Buttons

Press during tape playback to adjust the tracking.
