9. Inspect the harness straps from the front and back of the car seat to be sure the straps are inserted at the same level and that they are not twisted. Twisted belts can create slack in the harness straps and reduce the protection provided by the car seat.
10. Pull on the harness straps from the front of the car seat to be sure the straps are secure.
