Follow the procedures below to record sound. The possible recording time is displayed according to the remaining space in the recording destination.

Recording Mode

1.Set the Mode Dial to [ ].

2.Press Shutter Button to start recording and the recording time will display (see picture 2).

3. Press Shutter Button again to stop recording.

Note

zDuring recording, the Auto Power Off function will be disabled, even though the auto power off time has been set.

zThe LED (above the MENU button) will blink red while recording.

zWhile recording, do not try to turn off the power of digital video (or disconnect the AC Adapter), turn the mode dial, nor take out the memory card, as any of these actions could result in loss or damage of data stored in the internal memory / memory card, or malfunction of the DV camera.

zWait until recording has finished before changing the mode to another setting or turning the DV off.

zThe LCD will turn off automatically in 30 seconds after pressing Shutter Button. Press any Button to turn on the LCD if you needed.
