Important!

When the camera is connected to your computer for the first time after the installation of the camera drivers from the supplied CD-ROM, either of the 2 following situations would occur.

1.If the Mode Dial is set to the SET position, the computer will recognize the cam era and automatically complete the installation of the camera onto the computer.

2.If the Mode Dial is set to the ( ) position, the computer will recognize and install the camera onto the computer, and messages prompting you to select may occur under Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.

nUnder Windows 98SE

1The following message will pop up, indicating that the Windows system recognizes a new device and is searching for the driver.

2The following message will pop up to ask for insertion of Windows 98SE CD-ROM. Insert the Windows 98SE CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, then click “OK”.

3Click “Browse” to find the driver.

4Locate and double click Windows 98 folder, then click “OK” .
