In certain cases, due to static electricity or poorly loaded batteries, the camera'smicrocomputer may tum the camera off, even with fresh properly installed battery. For the same reason, film may not advanced properly. In each of these cases, to resume operation, simply tum the power OFF, then tum ON again, or remove battery and install it again.

Nikon cannot be held responsible for any malfunction resulting from the use of the camera other than as specified in this manual.
