Installing Nikon Capture 3 on a Macintosh

Before installing Nikon Capture 3, make sure that your computer meets the following system requirements.

64 MB or more (128 MB or more recommended with RAW images)

200 MB required for installation, with additional free disk space of 10 MB plus an amount equal to double the capacity of camera memory card available on start-up disk when Nikon Capture 3 is running.

800 600 pixels or more with 16-bit color (thousands of colors). 24-bit color (millions of colors) recommended.

Built-in IEEE 1394 (FireWire) interface and IEEE 1394 cable required for connection to D1, D1X, and D1H

Built-in USB interface required for connection to D100 and COOLPIX-series cam- eras with USB interface. Direct connection to other COOLPIX-series cameras not supported.
