Configuring a Network Profile for a Home Wireless LAN Using

WPS

The network profile for a home wireless LAN can be easily configured if the wireless LAN access point supports WPS.

WPS supports two configuration methods: Push-Button Configuration (PBC) and Personal Identification Number (PIN) method.

Configuring a Network Profile Using the PBC Method

1Choose Network profile from the Wireless settings option (A26) in the camera’s setup menu and press the k button.

2Select Push-button WPS and press the kbutton.

3Press the WPS button on the access point (wireless router), then press the kbutton on the camera.

If the message, Configuration failed. is displayed, begin again from step 1. If configuration fails repeatedly, configure the network profile manually (A28).

Press the WPS button on the wireless router, then press the OK button on the camera.
