Registering with my Picturetown

Registration (creation of a user account) with my Picturetown is required to take advantage of my Picturetown services.

1Use a computer to open the e-mail notification requesting user registration.

E-mail notification requesting user registration with my Picturetown will be sent to the e-mail address specified for user information.

If my Picturetown user information was configured using the Utility (A20), e-mail notification requesting user registration with my Picturetown will be sent after user information is sent to my Picturetown. User information has been sent to my Picturetown when the Action completed successfully dialog is displayed.

If my Picturetown user information was configured using the camera (A33), use Picture Mail (A44) or Picture Bank (A46, 47) to upload pictures to my Picturetown once to receive e-mail notification requesting user registration with my Picturetown.

2Click the URL provided in the e-mail notification requesting user registration, and register with my Picturetown from the sign-up Web page.

The following information is required for user registration:

-Nickname (the alias stored in the camera’s Sender setting; A20, 33)

-Email ID (the e-mail address stored in the camera’s Sender setting; A20, 33)

-Password for my Picturetown (the password specified if user information was configured using the Utility; A20)

-Key information* (not necessary if user information was configured using the Utility)

*Confirm key information by selecting Key information from the Wireless settings option (A26) in the camera’s setup menu, and pressing the kbutton.
