Built-in Speedlight

Use the built-in Speedlight if there is insufficient light to illuminate the subject. This condition is indicated by the Red LED flashing rapidly when the Shutter release button is half-pressed.

To use the Speedlight

ÅSlide the Speedlight lock-release lever to release the built-in Speedlight.

ÍConfirm the Red LED is steady, then gently depress the Shutter release button fully to take the picture with the built-in Speedlight.

Note that the built-in Speedlight may become warm during extended Speedlight use.
