IMAGE SHARPENING

The camera can emphasize the details and borders of objects, making the picture appear sharper and bolder.

		Auto		The camera automatically sets the
				sharpness.
		High		Sets the Sharpness to high.
		Normal		Sets the Standard sharpness.
		Low		Sets the Sharpness to low.
		Off		Cancels image sharpening.
Option			Description
Auto	The camera automatically sharpens the image for optimal results.
Normal	The same standard sharpness is set for all images.
High	The image is processed to increase the sharpness effect above the
	normal level, giving the edges of objects more emphasis and making
	details more distinct.
Low	The images processed to decrease sharpness below the normal level,
	making edges less distinct.
Off	No sharpening.

Note: Image Sharpening setting

The Image sharpening setting does not affect the monitor display during shooting or the video output data.

• The Image Sharpening indication is displayed on the Monitor when High, Normal or Low is set.

AUTO BRACKETING

In situations where it might be difficult to obtain a proper exposure, Auto Bracketing lets you shoot the same subject at three or five different exposures. In WB Bracketing, the white balance is bracketed in three shots.

Off	Bracketing is off.
On	Auto Bracketing is set.
WB Bracketing White Balance Bracketing is set.

Bracketing	Characteristics
Off	Bracketing is canceled and normal exposure control is used.
	Auto Bracketing is performed with the selected number of bracketing
On	shots and with a compensated EV value offset from the automatically
	metered exposure. The Shutter speed is bracketed in P, A or  Exposure
	modes and the aperture is bracketed in S Exposure mode.
	The White Balance is bracketed when you press the Shutter release
WB Bracketing	button fully giving 3 shots made up of one with the selected white
	balance, a reddish image and a bluish image.
	• The time required to save bracketed images to the CF memory card is
	three times that required for a normally recorded image.

Each time you press the Shutter release button, either three or five shots are taken ranging form over exposed EV values to under exposed EV values.When you shoot a high-contrast image, the image with the desired exposure can be selected from the set of bracketed shots.
