BSLEEP

Sets the sleep timer.

CMULTI CH IN

Selects multi-channel input when using an external decoder (etc.).

DAMP

Selects the AMP mode. You must select the AMP mode to control the main unit.

EVOLUME +/–

Increases or decreases the volume level.

FMUTE

Mutes the sound. Press again to restore the audio output to the previous volume level.

GNIGHT

Turns on or off the night listening modes (see page 35).

HSTRAIGHT (EFFECT)

Switches the sound fields off or on. When STRAIGHT is selected, input signals (2-channel or multi-channel) are output directly from their respective speakers without effect processing.

ISET MENU

Activates the SET MENU function.

JRadio Data System tuning buttons

FREQ/TEXT

Press this button when the unit is receiving a Radio Data System station to cycle the display between the PS mode, PTY mode, RT mode, CT mode (if the station offers those Radio Data System data services) and/or the frequency display (see page 44).

PTY SEEK MODE

Press this button to set the unit to the PTY SEEK mode (see page 45).

PTY SEEK START

Press this button to begin searching for a station after the desired program type has been selected in the PTY SEEK mode (see page 45).

EON

Press this button to select a radio program type (NEWS, INFO, AFFAIRS, SPORT) to tune in automatically (see page 46).

Using the remote control

The remote control transmits a directional infrared beam. Be sure to aim the remote control directly at the remote control sensor on the main unit during operation.
