Exposure Control (Iris)
The camcorder automatically adjusts the iris to provide the best picture. Under certain conditions, you may want to brighten or darken the image manually.

To Manually Control Brightness
1.Make sure the SCENE SELECT AE dial is not set to AUTO.
2.Press MODE until EXPOSURE appears beside the F2 button in the display panel. F2 EXP. appears in the viewfinder.
3.Press and hold F2 while sliding the power zoom lever toward T to
brighten the image or toward W to darken the image.
The exposure indicator bar appears in the viewfinder.
4.To return to auto iris mode, press F2 (or place the SCENE SELECT AE dial in AUTO).
