The self-timer feature delays recording to let the operator join the picture.

To Use the Self Timer

1.Place POWER switch in CAMERA.

2.Press TIME LAPSE SELF INT./TIME on the remote to select 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes.

15S, 30S, 1MIN, or

5MIN appears in the viewfinder.

3.Press START/STOP on the remote (thumb trigger on camcorder). Recording will be delayed the amount of time you selected. The tally light flashes with the flash speed increasing five seconds before recording begins. REC appears in viewfinder and tally light lights when recording begins.

To Turn Self Timer Off

Press TIME LAPSE SELF INT./TIME to remove the self-timer display from the viewfinder.

If the tally light is flashing, press START/STOP and then press TIME LAPSE SELF INT./TIME.
