Advance Image Settings

Auto Gain Control: When the level of input luminance is too dark, setting the AGC to high will automatically increase the image brightness.

Back Light Compensation: When the background of the input image is too bright, use the BLC function to make the objects in the image clearer.

2D Noise Reduction: When you increase the gain, noise in the image is also amplified. Use the 2D Noise Reduction to reduce the gain of the image noise.

3D Noise Reduction: Use this function to provide both temporal and spatial domain noise reduction. This type of noise reduction is very effective against random and Gaussian noise such as for example video images suffering from RF signal noise.

Preferred Mode:

Select Aperture-preferred to have the camera image set based on the camera’s aperture settings and the shutter speed selected automatically.

Select Shutter-preferred to have the camera image settings be based on the selected shutter speed and the aperture set automatically.

Select Manual to have the camera image settings based on manual setup of both aperture and shutter speed settings.

Iris Mode: In Aperture-preferred or Manual mode this field shows manual therefore the Iris Value field must be used to adjust the video image. In Shutter-preferred mode the Iris Mode changes to Auto and the Iris is adjusted automatically.

Iris Value: Use this pull-down menu to select an aperture setting in percent when the Auto Iris setting is set to Manual.

Sens Up: When the luminance level of the input image is too dark, the Sens Up function can compensate for this either automatically. Select Auto for Automatic Sens Up compensation and adjust the Sens Up compensation by using the Sens Up Value pull down menu item below. Select off to turn off this feature. Note the preferred-mode must be in Aperture-preferred to adjust Sens-up.

Sens Up Value: If Sens Up is set to Auto use this setting to adjust the value of the Sens Up compensation.
