B. PING your IP Address
The PING (Packet Internet Groper) command can determine whether a specific IP address is accesible by sending a packet to the specific address and waiting for a reply. It can also be a useful tool in confirming whether an IP address conflicts with the Camera’s on the network.
To find out if the Camera conflicts with another IP address on the network follow the steps below:
1.Disconnect the Camera from the network.
2.Open a new DOS Window,by clicking Start > Run as shown below:
