Keep the horizontal plane level
You can easily determine the horizontal plane t_y using the viewfinder frame as a reference.
Plan ahead
If you are going to edit the tape after recording, shoot the scene a little longer to make the editing easier.
Lighting
Shoot with the sun behind you.
When the light source is behind the subject, or in the following situations, the subject will be recorded too dark and the background too light.
•The subject is indoors and there is a window behind the subject.
•Bright sources such as fluorescent or incandescent lamps are included in the scene.
•You are shooting a person wearing white or shiny clothes in front of a white background. In this case, the face will be recorded too dark.
Use video light in the dark
To get the best colors, you must maintain a sufficient light level.
Photography lamps or halogen lamps are recommended. For best results, use of Sony video lights, since their weight and low heat output levels allow safe and direct connection to the camcorder.
Do not point the light at the camcorder. The high heat from the light may warp the casing of the camcorder.
