Releasing the STEADY SHOT function

When you shoot, the î indicator appears. This indicates that the SteadyShot function is working and the camcorder compensates for camera-shake.

You can release the SteadyShot function when you do not need to use the SteadyShot function. Do not use the SteadyShot function when shooting a stationary object with a tripod.

(1)While pressing PUSH OPEN, open the LCD panel.

(2)Set STEADY SHOT to OFF. The î indicator goes off.

Notes on the SteadyShot

•The SteadyShot will not correct excessive camera-shake.

•When you switch the SteadyShot function on or off, the exposure may fluctuate.

•When you record in 16:9FULL mode, the SteadyShot function does not work and the î indicator flashes.
