NOTE:

The number of storable images depends on the selected picture quality as well as the composition of the subjects in the images and the type of memory card being used.

Normal Playback

1 Load a memory card ( pg. 11).

2 Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch 4 to “DSC”, then set the Power Switch y to “PLAY” while pressing down the Lock Button t.

A stored image is displayed.

3 Press 38 to display the next image, or press 2 6 to display the previous image.

To Magnify The Stored Images

Press the Zoom Button T ; on the remote control to zoom in (up to 44X), or W A to zoom out. You can also magnify a particular part of an image ( pg. 35). By pressing 4/67, 3 8, 2 6, INDEX !, INFO 0 magnification returns to normal instantly.

To Adjust The Brightness Of The Display

1.Make sure the VIDEO/DSC Switch 4 is set to

“DSC” and the Power Switch y is set to “ ”, then press the MENU/VOLUME wheel %.

2.Perform steps 3 and 4 of “To Adjust The Brightness Of The Display” on page 12.

NOTES:

Pressing INFO 0 gives you details on the displayed file ( pg. 19, “Viewing File Information”).

You can also overview several files at a time ( pg. 19, “Index Playback”).

You can turn off the on-screen playback display ( pg. 19, “Removing On-Screen Display”).

Images shot in a file size that is not compatible with this camcorder will be displayed as reduced-size thumbnail images. These thumbnail images cannot be transferred to a PC.

Images shot with devices (such as JVC GR-DVM70) that are not compatible with DCF cannot be viewed with this camcorder; “UNSUPPORTED FILE!” will be displayed.
