Updating the drivers installed in the unit

For the latest information concerning drivers, access the P2 support page on the web site given below.

http://panasonic.biz/sav/

When updating a driver, check the unit’s version by selecting thumbnail menu “OPERATION” – “SERVICE”

“SYSTEM INFO”, then access the above web site, and download the driver if necessary. Complete the updating by loading the downloaded file into the unit through an SD memory card. For details on the updating procedure, refer to the information on the above site.

When installing the update, be absolutely sure to connect the AC adapter.

It is recommended that SD memory cards which comply with the SD standard be used by the unit.

Be absolutely sure to use the unit to format the SD memory cards. If they need to be formatted using a personal computer, download the special software from the above site, and use it to format them.

Maintenance

Do not use benzine or paint thinners to clean the unit.

Doing so may deform the unit or cause its paint to peel off.

Before cleaning the unit, remove the battery or unplug the AC cord from the power outlet.

Wipe the unit with a clean soft cloth. To remove stubborn dirt, dip a cloth into some kitchen detergent which has been diluted with water, wring it out and wipe off the dirt, and then use a dry cloth to take up any remaining moisture.

Condensation

When condensation forms on or inside the unit, the principle behind its formation is the same as when droplets of water form on the window panes of a heated room. It forms when the unit and its cards are brought into a space with significantly different temperature and humidity levels, specifically when:

They have been brought to a very humid location full of steam or to a room immediately after the heating has been turned on.

They have suddenly been brought from an air-conditioned place to a location with high temperature and humidity levels.

If the unit and its cards are brought to such locations, do not turn on the unit’s power but leave the unit and cards standing for about 10 minutes.
