Cautions for Use (continued)

The Battery

Lithium ion battery is compact and high-capacity battery. However, when the battery is cooled under low temperature (10xC or less) such as outside in winter, the available time of the battery becomes shorter and this unit may not work. In this case, warm the battery and insert it into this unit just before you use this unit. (If you use a pocket warmer, do not let the pocket warmer touch with the battery.)

Be sure to detach the battery after use.

If it is left attached to this unit, a minute amount of current is consumed even when this unit is turned off. If it is left for a long time, over discharge takes place. The battery may become unusable even after it is charged.

If it is left attached to this unit for a long period of time, self-discharge may take place. Charge the battery before use.

Bring spare batteries when you use this unit outdoors.

The operating time of the battery may become shorter under low temperature such as skiing grounds.

When you travel, be sure to prepare the AC adaptor (supplied) to

charge the battery on the spot.
