Preparation

Setting up the unit

Connecting the AC adaptor

LUse only the included Panasonic AC adaptor PQLV203.

(120 V AC,

60 Hz)

Note:

LThe AC adaptor must remain connected at all times. (It is normal for the adaptor to feel warm during use.)

LThe AC adaptor should be connected to a vertically oriented or floor-mounted AC outlet. Do not connect the AC adaptor to a ceiling-mounted AC outlet, as the weight of the adaptor may cause it to become disconnected.

Battery installation

1 Insert the battery as shown. Insert the S and T end of the battery first.

2 Close the cover in the direction of the arrows.

Note:

LAfter charging the battery, you can use the battery to power the unit, allowing you to use the unit in a location where there is no power outlet.

We recommend keeping the AC adaptor connected for normal usage.
