8AXIS 233D - Product Overview

Serial number - This number is located on the product label at the base of the camera and is used during installation and restoring the camera to factory default settings. Included in the package is an extra product label, put this in a safe place for future reference.

Restart button - This button power cycles the camera and is to be used during firmware upgrade or factory reset.

Control button - This button is used to restore the factory default settings as described in Resetting to Factory Default Settings, on page 51.

After completion of the startup and self test routines, the indicator flashes as follows. For more indicator flash routines see page 58.

Steady connection/normal operation

 

 

Amber

Steady for system initiating. Flashes during

 

firmware upgrade or reset to factory

 

default

 

 

Amber/red

Flashes amber/red for no network connec-

 

tion

 

 

Red

Flashes red for firmware upgrade failure

 

 

Green

Shows steady green for 10 sec. for normal

 

operation after restart
