Sound Detection

Sound detection allows you to detect when there is a loud sound in the area, which can be used to trigger snapshots or recordings. Refer to “Mail” on page 33 and “FTP” on page 35 for more details.

Sound Select whether you want to enable or disable the sound detection feature

Detection: of your camera.

Time: Specify whether you want to Always have motion detection enabled, or according to a Schedule that you define.

Detection Specify the volume level that a sound must exceed in order to trigger the Level: sound detection feature. The graph at the bottom of the page will show

the current volume levels being detected by the camera.
