Dividing a track (TRACK DIVIDE)

Use the following procedure to divide a track into two by inserting a track number in its middle. For example, by inserting an additional track number before the passage you are specially fond of, it is easy to skip to there when you play the disc later. Note that the track numbers of the tracks located after the divided track are automatically incremented.

Fine adjustment is possible by using the preview function to listen repeatedly to the part to be divided.

Preparation section

Basic section

1Play the track to be divided.

2Press the TRACK EDIT key at the desired position.

1Select “DIVIDE”.

During playback, playback pause will be reached.

When you don't want to execute fine adjustment of the division point , press the ENTER key after step 2, and then go to step 4. (DIVIDE ok? will be displayed.)

ÖThis operation is also possible during play-pause.

Each press switches the operation.

ÖThe possible adjustment range is 32 steps before and after from the pause location where the TRACK EDIT key has been pressed in step 2. (1 step is approximately 6/100 sec.)
