DVD Video Player Operations
2.Touch the [TRACK SCAN] key, then touch the [RTN] key.
Touch the [TRACK SCAN] key again, and scan playback is turned off.
∗If you are playing a disc with PBC and the PBC function is engaged, this operation may not be performed.
Repeat playback
This operation plays back one track recorded on the video CD repeatedly.
1.Touch the screen and touch the [SUB MODE] key.
2.Touch the [TRACK REPEAT] key, then touch the [RTN] key.
Touch the [TRACK REPEAT] key again, and repeat playback is turned off.
∗If you are playing a disc with PBC and the PBC function is engaged, this operation may not be performed.
Displaying the playback status
1.Press the [DISP] button during playback.
Each time you press the button, you can switch between display (ON) and
•Depending on the playback status or disc, the following indication may appear.
2.Display the sub KEY PAD using the proce- dures described in the section “KEY PAD operation”.
3.Touch the [P.TIME] key during playback.
Each time you touch the key, you can switch among time display.

Note:
•Depending on some discs, the [P.TIME] indication may not be displayed on some scenes. Also, it may occur that the P.TIME operation does not work. When this happens, the indication "INVALID" will appear.
Each time you press the button, you can switch between on and off.
When the PBC is turned on or off, the disc plays from the beginning.
●Playback control (PBC)
This control signal is recorded on a Video CD for version 2.0 and used to control playback. Using

If one of the following operations is done, the disc plays from the beginning.
When the [FUNC] button is pressed to switch to some other mode, and the DVD player mode is returned again.
When the [s] button is pressed to play the disc again after play is stopped by pressing and holding the [s] button for 1 second or longer.
When the ACC switch of a car is turned on/off.
Listening to a CD
∗This unit is a CD TEXT compatible model.
This unit supports the display of the DISC TITLE, TRACK TITLE and ARTIST of the CD TEXT.
After disc loading, the play mode is automati- cally engaged.
Note:
This unit supports only CD TEXT in English. Also, some character data may not be reproduced prop- erly on the display.
Pausing playback
1.Press the [s] button during playback. Playback pauses.
2.To resume playback, press the [s] button, and playback resumes.

On/off of Playback Control
∗This function is enabled only using the remote control unit.
∗The factory default setting is “ON”.
On video CDs equipped with Play Back Control function, you can turn it on/off.
