Fast forward and fast rewind

1.Press and hold the [a] button or [d] button during playback.

Press the button, and the playback speed becomes 4-time faster first and then 8-time faster 3 seconds later. Release the button, and the normal speed is restored.

Selecting a file (track) on the screen

1.Press the [MENU] button during playback. Files (track) are displayed.

1.Touch the screen and touch the [SUB MODE] key.

2.Touch the [TRACK SCAN] key, then touch the [RTN] key.

The monitor displays “TRACK SCN”. Scan playback starts from the next file.

3.To cancel file scan playback, touch the

[TRACK SCAN] key again. The playback sta- tus indication “TRACK SCN” goes off from the monitor and the file currently being played back continues.

2.Touch the [w] or [z] key to select a file and touch the [ENT] key.

3.Touch the [RTN] key to select a folder. The folder selection screen appears.

4.Touch the [w] or [z] key to select the folder and touch the [ENT] key. The file selection screen is returned.

If no further operation is performed for 7 sec- onds, the STANDARD screen is returned.

Searching for a desired folder (Folder scan playback)

This operation plays back the first files of all folders on the MP3 disc, about 10 seconds for each.

1.Touch the screen and touch the [SUB MODE] key.

2.Touch the [FOLDER SCAN] key, then touch the [RTN] key.

Playback by selecting a folder and file (Direct select mode)

This operation allows searching using the folder and file (track) numbers recorded on the MP3 disc.

1.Press the [KEY PAD] button and toch the [SRCH] key.

Each time you touch the [SHIFT] key, you can switch between “T000” for file (track) number input and “F000” for folder number input.

2.Input the number for the file (track) or folder that you want to play back with [0] to [9] key.

3.Touch the [ENT] key.

When you select the folder number playback starts from Track 1 of the input folder num- ber.

When you are searching for some other folder and track while a file is being played, pressing the [MENU] button will return to the file being played.

Searching a desired file (Track scan playback)

About file scan playback

This operation plays back all files recorded on the disc, about 10 seconds for each.

The monitor displays “FOLDER SCN” and folder scan playback starts.

Scan playback starts from the first file of the next folder to the one currently being played back.

3.To cancel folder scan playback, touch the [FOLDER SCAN] key again. The playback status indication “FOLDER SCN” goes off from the monitor and the file currently being played back continues.

Listening to one file repeatedly (Track repeat playback)

This operation plays back the file currently being played back repeatedly.

1.Touch the screen and touch the [SUB MODE] key.

2.Touch the [TRACK REPEAT] key, then touch the [RTN] key. The monitor displays “TRACK RPT” and file repeat playback starts.

3.To cancel file repeat playback, touch the

[TRACK REPEAT] key again. The playback status indication “TRACK RPT” goes off from the monitor and the file currently being played back continues in normal playback.
