Setting Automatic Background Texture/Color Scroll

Turn on the Automatic Background Texture/color Scroll to automatically change background texture/colors. The background texture/color will change each time the ignition key is turned off and turned back on again (12 textures/colors).

NOTE

After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of "To switch to the display mode screen or to the picture mode" explained on page 47, perform the operation described below.

2 Press the 5 (DISPLAY) button to activate the Display mode.

The Display mode screen appears.

3 Rotate the rotary encoder and select "AUTO B.GND."

The Function Guide is displayed.

4 Press the 2 (ON) button to turn on the Auto Background Texture/color Scroll mode.

To turn off the Auto Background Texture/color Scroll mode, press the 1 (OFF) button.

The background textures/colors will scroll when the ignition key is turned off once and turned back on again as follows:

MARBLE SKY WOOD GRAD. METAL C6 C5 C4 C3 C2 C1 ABYSS

NOTE

Immediately after inputting titles or changing the settings of Setup Mode or Display Mode (While the system is inputting the titles or data automatically) do not turn the ignition key (engine key) to OFF.

Otherwise, the title may not be written, or the settings may not be changed.

Switching Display Modes

NOTE

After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of "To switch to the display mode screen or to the picture mode" explained on page 47, perform the operation described below.

1 Press and hold the DISP button for at least 2 seconds in the AUX or NAVI mode.

Each press changes the display modes as follows:

MODE 1MODE 2MODE 3MODE 4 (WIDE) (ZOOM) (CINEMA) (NORMAL)

MODE1

In the Mode 1 (Wide), the monitor displays a normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen monitor by evenly stretching out the picture horizontally.

MODE2

In the Mode 2 (Zoom), the monitor displays a normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen monitor by unevenly stretching out. The center portion of the picture is stretched out only slightly in order to make the important center portion of the picture look natural.
