Controls on Remote Control

1Power Button

Press the button to turn the power on/off.

2Source Button

Press to select the audio source.

3-/JButton

Press and hold this button for at least 2 seconds to play or pause (In CD/MD/TAPE/Changer mode).

Enter Button

Press to execute the selection. (The same function as the rotary encoder on IVA-C801/ CVA-1006.)

Pressing and holding this button for at least 2 seconds turns the loudness on or off (when neither an equalizer nor a digital sound processor is connected).

4ANGLE 89 Buttons

Press the button to adjust the angle of the movable display.

5Band/Program Button Radio mode: BAND Button

Press the button and the band will change as shown below.

FM1 FM2 AM

Changer mode: BAND Button

Switches changers (when a Multi-Changer Switching device is connected).

TAPE mode: PROG Button

Press the button to change between the A and B side of the tape.

6Volume Adjustment Buttons To increase the volume level: Press the L button

To decrease the volume level: Press the K button

The buttons have the same functions as rotating the rotary encoder on IVA-C801/CVA-1006.

Radio mode: Pressing the button will select, in ascending order, stations programed into the radio's presets as shown below.

CD Changer mode: DISC Select (UP) Button Press the button to select a disc in ascending order. Tape Mode: Press this button to advance to the beginning of the next selection.

8g Button

Radio mode: SEEK (DN) Button

CD/CD Changer mode: Press the button to go back to the beginning of the current track.

Tape Mode: Press this button to rewind the tape. Audio Processor Mode:

When the main menu is displayed:

After pressing the A.PROC button, tilt the button to select the factory preset curves in the selected mode.

When the adjustment mode screen is displayed: Tilt to select the personal preset curves.

9f Button

Radio mode: SEEK (UP) Button

CD/CD Changer mode: Press the button to advance to the beginning of the next track. Tape Mode: Press to fast forward the tape. Audio Processor Mode:

Tape Mode: Press this button to return to the beginning of the current selection or a selection further back.

"Mute Button

Press the button to lower the volume by 20 dB instantly. Press the button again to cancel.

Press the button for at least 2 seconds to raise the monitor. Press the button again to lower the monitor.

#Audio Processor Button∗∗

Press the button to call the external audio processor mode.

For the operation of external audio processor, refer to the Owner's Manual of the external audio processor you purchased.
