TRAFFIC INFORMATION	CASSETTE OPERATION
MEMORY

Extending TIM Standby Time

Once the device is switched off, TIM remains on standby for two hours. This period can be extended to 24 hours.

➮Activate TIM.

➮Switch the car radio off with button

“TIM 2H” appears in the display.

➮Hold the TIM button @pressed for longer than one second.

“TIM 24H” appears in the display.

Note:

●To protect the vehicle battery, the extension of TIM standby time only remains active until the car radio is next turned on.

Cassette Operation

Cassette Play

●If there is no cassette in the device

➮Press the button 9. The flip-release panel opens.

➮Insert the cassette into the cassette slot with the open side to the right.

➮Close the control unit.

The cassette starts playing with the side that is facing upwards.

●If there is already a cassette in the device

➮Press the CD•Cbutton ? until “CASSETTE” appears in the dis- play.

The cassette is played in whichever di- rection was last selected.

Cassette Ejection

➮Press the button 9.

The flip-release panel opens and the cassette is ejected.

➮Remove the cassette and close the release panel

or

➮Insert a new cassette.
