All of the car speakers should be connect- ed correctly when you take the readings. If the speakers or the microphone are not connected to the system properly when you attempt to take the readings, the self-adjust- ment process will be interrupted and ”Error” will appear briefly in the top line of the dis- play.

Manual equalizer adjustment

If you prefer to adjust the equalizer manual- ly, you can enter the settings for EQ1 to EQ3 manually.

However, you can also adjust the settings made electronically to suit your own individ- ual tastes.

Press / to select the setting you want to alter (EQ1, EQ2, EQ3).

Press LEFT or RGHT to alter the fre- quencies for the corresponding chan- nel.

Press << >> to select a frequency band.

Press / to select the intensity.

Set all of the frequency bands one after the other for the left and right channels.

After you have completed your setting

press ENT.
