Selecting the waveband / memory bank
This device can receive programmes broadcast over the FM, MW and LW (AM) wavebands.
There are four memory banks for the FM range and one for each of the MW and LW ranges.
Six stations can be stored in each memory bank.
Note:
●If your device is configured for the USA region, you can choose be- tween the FM and AM wave- bands. There are three additional memory banks available for the AM waveband: AM1, AM2 and AMT.
Selecting the waveband
To select the FM, MW or LW wave- band,
➮press the TUNER button = while in radio mode.
The radio functions menu appears in the display.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒBANDÓ display item.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒFMÓ display item for the FM waveband.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒMWÓ display item for the MW waveband.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒLWÓ display item for the LW waveband.
The main radio menu for the selected waveband is displayed.
Selecting an FM memory bank
To switch between the FM memory banks FM1, FM2, FM3 and FMT,
➮press the NEXT button 4repeat- edly until the memory bank that you want is displayed.
The memory banks are accessed in the following order: FM1, FM2, FM3 and FMT.
Note:
●If your device is configured for the USA region and you selected the AM waveband, you can additional- ly switch between the AM memory
banks (AM1, AM2 and AMT) by pressing the NEXT 4 button.
Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a station.
Automatic station seek tuning
➮Move the joystick 8down or up.
The radio tunes into the next receiva- ble station.
Tuning into stations manually
You can also tune into stations manu- ally.
Note:
●You can only tune into stations manually if the RDS function is deactivated.
➮Move the joystick 8left or right.
