You can select between the following wave- bands:

FM 87.5 - 108 MHz

MW 531 - 1602 kHz

LW 153 - 279 kHz

The Radio Data System offers you more convenience when listening to FM radio sta- tions.

More and more radio stations have begun to broadcast RDS information alongside their programmes.

As soon as programmes have been identi- fied, the station name including a regional identifier, if applicable, will appear in the dis- play, for example, NDR1 NDS (regional pro- gramme in Lower Saxony, Germany).

When RDS is activated, the preset buttons become programme buttons. You now know exactly which programme you have tuned into, making it easy to find the desired sta- tion quickly.

But RDS offers you further advantages:

Notice:

In the DSC menu you can deactivate the station selection on either MW or LW or for both wavebands at the same time.

This has the advantage that only the re- quired bands will allow to be activated, so that you must press the TS/BND button less often. For more information, please refer to chapter “DSC programming - AM ON/AM OFF”.
