If any of the following intelligent blades are used, 200-240 VAC is required:
FS8-18, FX8-24.
Table 1 8 shows the basic power specifications for each power supply.

The power requirements for a given configuration depend on which blades have been installed in
the chassis. Table 1 9 shows the power draw for the blades that can be used in the Brocade DCX
8510-4 chassis along with the power draw for the cooling fans.
All numbers for the blades assume that the blade is fully populated with optical transceivers,
including QSFPs for the core blades. All ports are Fibre Channel except where noted.
You can calculate your power requirements by combining the power draws for the various blades
and fan units in your configuration. While you may use fewer ports in a given blade, it is always
safer to use the power requirement of a fully populated blade.

Inrush current Limited to 60A peak for any initial current surge or spike of 10ms or less at
either cold or warm start. Any additional inrush current surges or spikes in
the form of AC cycles or multiple AC cycl es greater than 10 ms, and less tha n
150ms, must not exceed 15A peak.
