Changing basic settings in the settings menu

Switching the internal amplifier on/off (Internal Amp)

If you connected the device to an external power amplifier via the preamplifier outputs (Preamp), you can switch off the internal amplifier of the device as follows:

CAUTION!

No sound with switched- off internal amplifier!

If you switch off the internal am- plifier, you do not hear a sound from the loudspeakers connected to the device!

Switch off the internal amplifi- er only if you connected an ex- ternal power amplifier to the preamplifier outputs (Preamp) of the device and you connect- ed your loudspeakers to this power amplifier:

Press the softkey 8 (next to "Internal Amp").

The status of the internal am- plifier is displayed:

: The internal amplifier is switched on. Loudspeak- ers connected to the device play back the selected audio source.

: The internal amplifier is switched off. Loudspeakers connected to the device al- ways remain mute. The loud- speakers must be connected to the external amplifier.

Resetting the device to factory settings (Norm Set)

Press the softkey < (next to "Norm Set").

The "Norm Set" menu appears.

Press and hold the softkey < for approx. two seconds.

"NORMSET ON" briefly appears on the display. The device is re- set to the factory settings. Im- ages and animations, which you transferred to the device, are deleted.

Note:

To exit the "Norm Set" menu without resetting the device to the factory settings, press the OK button A or the ESC but- ton @.

Changing the scan time (Scan Time)

Press the softkey ; (next to "Scan Time").

The current scan time is dis- played.
