When HD Radio sound quality changes frequently

While receiving an HD Radio broadcast, received signals alternate automatically between digital and analog to obtain better reception. Because of this automatic reception, the sound quality also changes as received signals change.

If you want to cancel this function, follow the procedure below.

The setting automatically returns to “Auto” in the following cases:

When you tune in to another station.

When you change to another source.

When you turn off the power.

To tune in FM stations only with strong signals—LO/DX (Local/Distance- extreme)

If received signals are weak, you may only hear noises. By setting LO/DX to “Local,” you can make this unit detects only stations with sufficient signal strength.
