Operating audio for the DVA-7996

Set the mode selector switch to the “AUDIO” side to

perform audio operations on the DVA-7996.

1AUDIO/NAV./EXT DVD Transmission Indicator When the mode selector switch is switched, the transmission indicators for the various modes light for several seconds.

2A.PROC Button∗∗

Press the button to call the external audio processor mode.

3 Button

Radio mode: Pressing the button will select, in ascending order, stations programmed into the radio's presets.

MP3 mode: Press the Folder Select (UP) Button to select the folder.

CD Changer mode: DISC Select (UP) Button Press the button to select a disc in ascending order.

4POWER Button

Press the button to turn the power on/off.

5 Button

Radio mode: SEEK (DN) Button

CD/Changer mode: Press the button to go back to the beginning of the current track. Press and hold to fast reverse.

MP3 mode: Press the button to go back to the beginning of the current file.

6 Button

Radio mode: Pressing the button will select, in descending order, stations programmed into the radio's presets.

MP3 mode: Press the Folder Select (DN) Button to select the folder.

CD Changer mode: DISC Select (DN) Button

Press the button to select a disc in descending order.

7V.SEL Button

Used for switching the screen when the unit is used in combination with a separately sold monitor, etc.

8LIGHT Button Lights the indicator.

9VOLUME / Button

To increase or decrease the volume level.

pMUTE Button

Press the button to lower the volume by 20 dB instantly. Press the button again to cancel.

qREAR Button

Press and hold for at least 2 seconds to switch the remote control sensor.

wANGLE / Button

Press the button to adjust the angle of the movable audio display.

e Button Performs stop.

rSOURCE Button

Press to select the audio source.

t Button

Radio mode: SEEK (UP) Button

CD changer mode: Press the button to advance to the beginning of the next track. Press and hold to fast forward.

MP3 mode: Press the button to advance to the beginning of the next file.

y Button

Press the button to switch between play and pause.

uBAND Button Radio mode:

Press the button and the band will change. CD/Changer mode: To switch the disc mode.

iMODE Change Switch

Set to the “AUDIO” side to operate the DVA-7996.

Set to the “EXT DVD” side to operate a separately sold DVD product.

Set to the “NAV.” side to operate a separately sold navigation product.

When pressed, the mode switches to the TV mode. Operate while the transmission indicator is flashing.

For the operation of external audio processor, refer to the Owner's

Manual of the external audio processor you purchased.

∗∗ This button is used in conjunction with an optional Ai-NET

processor.
