13 CD Play/Pause Selector 6 Cue/Review Functions

14Track Scan Select (SCN)

During disc play, press the PAU (play/pause) button (13) to pause the disc. When paused, the disc symbol stops moving, “S-PAUSE” is displayed, and play is suspended. When PAU is pressed again, playback resumes from the point at which disc play was stopped and continues until all tracks on the disc have been played, after which playback automatically stops (unless the repeat mode has been selected).

Use the Cue and Review functions to perform a high-speed audible search to any section of a disc. Press and hold the up tuning side of the TUNE/TRACK/SKIP button (6) to advance rapidly in the forward direction (the disc play symbol rotates forward on the display panel) or the down tuning side of the TUNE/TRACK/ SKIP button (6) to advance rapidly in the backward direction (the disc symbol rotates backwards on the display panel).

During disc play, press the SCN button (14) to play the first 10 seconds of each track. (“S- SCN” will be displayed). When a desired track is reached, press the SCN button again to cancel the function and play the selected track. You can also cancel the Scan mode by activating the Repeat Play, Random Play or track select functions.

6Forward Track Selector

During disc play, the up-tuning side of the TUNE/TRACK/SKIP button (6) is used to quickly select the beginning of a particular track in the forward direction. With each press of the button, the next higher track number is selected, as shown on the display panel.

6Backward Track Selector

During disc play, the down-tuning side of the TUNE/TRACK/SKIP button (6) is used to quickly select the beginning of a particular track in the backward direction. With each press of the button, the next lower track number is selected, as shown on the display panel.
