Call

Select this option to make a call to the sender’s phone number.

Reply with template

Message settings

To be able to send short messages, you first need to make some settings on your car kit phone.

You can reply to a short message using a template that you have prepared yourself. Select the option Reply with template to view the list of the templates stored in your car kit phone.

Save as template

This convenient option lets you save a received SMS as a template. To use the template, select the option Reply with template to view the list and send the message.

Erase

Select this option to delete a short message.

Message centre number

You receive this number from your service provider.

yThis option saves the phone number of the message centre, which you need to send text messages.

Reply via same centre (network service)

Replies to short messages are typically handled by the SMS centre which the sender subscribes to. Selecting Reply via same centre will allow the recipient of your message to send you a reply via your message centre.

To make these settings, with the display in standby:

aPress .

aScroll with to the menu item Message settings and

press to select it.

aScroll with to the desired option and press to select it.

aFollow the instructions on the display.

View templates

Your car kit phone can save up to 10 templates to be sent as short messages. Five standard templates come with your car kit phone; you may save 5 further templates taken from short messages sent to you. The following options are available:
