Voice mailbox

Your service provider may offer you a voice mailbox service, which you have to install before you can receive voice messages. To access this mailbox you may need to save the number to your car kit phone. Your service provider will give you further information on this service and let you know the number of your voice mailbox.

The voice mailbox features are available for the active device that is currently accessing the SIM card data.

Entering your voice mailbox number

You will obtain the number of your voice mailbox from your service provider upon subscription to this service. To enter it in your car kit phone, with the display in standby:

aSelect the Settings menu and press to open it.

aScroll with to Voice mailbox and press to select this option.

aScroll with to Voice mailbox number and press to select this option.

aUse the Navi wheel number editor to enter the number.

aIf you should select an incorrect number, press to delete it.

aTo save the number, press "OK" in the Navi wheel number editor or press .

Listening to voice messages

To listen to voice messages, with the display in standby:

aSelect the Settings menu and press to open it.

aScroll with to the Voice mailbox item and press to select it.

aScroll with to Listen to voice messages and press to select this option.

yPress and hold to dial your voice mailbox direct.

GPRS modem settings (network service)

You can use your car kit phone as a modem to enable GPRS connectivity. Note, however, that you will need a GPRS access point before you can do so. Contact your network operator or service provider for information.

Before you can use GPRS:

pYou need to subscribe to the GPRS service of your network operator or service provider.

pFor the relevant information on the availability of GPRS and the necessary settings, contact your network operator or service provider.

pThe settings required to use GPRS applications have to be saved to your car kit phone.

To set up a GPRS access point, with the display in standby:

a Select the Settings menu and press to open it.

a Scroll with to the GPRS modem item and press to select it.
