Bluetooth wireless technology

Request authorisation

You can define whether the connection from the paired device is to be established automatically (No) or whether the car kit phone is to ask for authorisation before pairing (Yes) when the device to be paired comes within Bluetooth range of the car kit phone.

Edit Bluetooth name

Select this option to change the name of the device with Bluetooth technology which is paired with your car kit phone. Use the Navi wheel text editor to make the desired changes.

aTo view the list of paired devices, with the display in

standby, scroll with to the Bluetooth menu and press

to open it.

aTo delete characters in the name, press .

aUse the Navi wheel text editor and scroll with to

select the desired characters and press to enter them.

aWhen you have finished entering the desired name, press

to save it.

aThe message Entry completed? will appear on the display.

Press to confirm.

aScroll with to View paired devices and press to select this option.

aThe list of paired devices will be shown on the display. Scroll

with to the desired compatible device and press to select it.

aScroll with to Bluetooth name and press to select this option.

aThe name of the device selected will appear on the display.

Press to confirm the selection.

aThe message Edit Bluetooth name? is shown on the display.

aScroll with to the desired option Yes or No and press

to select it.

If you have selected Yes, the Bluetooth name currently in use will be displayed.
