Recorder

yYou can easily play back your recordings using a voice command. Say the voice command and your car kit phone

will begin with the recording last made. With you can skip to the next recording.

yBefore you can use this shortcut, you will have to assign a voice command to this function in your car kit phone. For further information, see “Voice commands” on page 48.

Record

This option allows pieces of speech to be recorded and automatically saves the recording.

To make a recording, with the display in standby:

aScroll with to the Recorder menu and press to open it.

aScroll with to Record and press to select this option.

aFollow the instructions shown on the display.

If you are engaged in an active call and wish to make a recording:

aPress and hold to start recording.

aTo end the recording, press .

All tape recordings are stored and numbered (e.g. tape 1). To view the list of recordings, with the display in standby:

aSelect the Recorder menu and press to open it.

aScroll with to the desired recording and press to select it.

Two options are available for the recordings: Play and Delete.

aScroll to the desired option and press to select it.

aFollow the instructions shown on the display.

Play

You can play back a selected recording.

Delete

You can use this option to erase a recording in order to make room for new tapes.
